Aubrae Lamparella For Farmington Town Board
Farmington Native
As a Farmington native, I was raised in Pumpkin Hook and graduated from Victor High School in
1992 with Honors. I continued my education earning an Associates Degree from Monroe
Community College and a Bachelor of Science from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University.
And as a person who believes that a community is only as strong as its people, I hope to strengthen the bonds between Town officials and the people they serve. I hope you join me.
A Vision for Farmington
Create policy that embraces the rural charm of Farmington while maintaining access to amenities
Farmington is a beautiful town that has always been known for its rich farming history. Ask many residents and they will tell you that one of the reasons why they moved here, and why they continue to call Farmington home, is because of its working fields, parks, and natural landscapes. They also call Farmington home because of the easy access to amenities like Eastview Mall, the Thruway, Major Highways, and the city of Rochester.
Ensure further town development is done in a sustainable and mindful way
Sustainable development doesn’t have to be a scary concept. It does not mean all economic development ends. It simply puts a focus on managing the town with a mindset of using available resources efficiently without compromising the needs of our children's future.
Improve transparency and communication with residents
A hallmark of any good town government is its constant, clear communication with residents. As town governments vary, board members should be able to help inform residents about town processes in addition to town progresses. Our communication methods should also keep up with new and easier to use technologies.
